Why I chose to try it
Almost out of obligation, I am pretty sure Ubuntu was the very first Linus distribution I "tried".
My first impressions
I recall thinking it was really good (me coming from Windows).
How long did I use it?
A few days and not maybe a few hours each day.
Conclusions
Ubuntu is a great Linux Distro! I would recommend it as a top 3 starter Linux Desktop Distribution.
Not only is the Desktop version really good but is also is an outstanding server (headless) that is commonly utilized for "server" use cases.
